This is a comic I did for my French class. Spock and Kirk have some drinks aboard the Enterprise. :D

Ten points to Slytherin if someone can get me a scan of a specific page/panel from the new Angel: Yearbook.

And now... spoilers...

Cut for spoilers about the page I want to see. )

So, Fender has been thinking a lot about what it means to be a Slayer for the past few days, and I realized that the only way I could suss things out is to do things my way- i.e. make up a hypothetical type of ficlet and draw a comic... and this is what happened...

Word of warning: Don't hate me because I make my own fun. I love you guys. :D

J. Scott Cambell, artist of busty women throughout comicland and most famous his sexifying every female Disney character in illustrations that wound up as an internet meme a few weeks back, is releasing a new artbook (it debuted at SDCC) which has Buffy on the cover. The piece, entitled "Sweet Intrusion," (colours by Nei Ruffino) is also to be featured on the cover of Wizard magazine (but with colours by a different artist).

My local comic book shop has repeatedly refused to order IDW's "Last Angel in Hell" for me. I need that Lynch/Runge goodness. I need it like a preacher needs pain, like a needle needs a vein. I guess I'm going to have to get a Target giftcard and order through Amazon via Target.com. Too bad the nearest Target is an hour and a half away. So, to sum up, I need a car, a credit card, and a copy of the "Last Angel in Hell" graphic novel... and a Playfish Playcash card for Pet Society on Facebook (next week is Rococo/Marie Antoinette week, and I'll be snatching up all the new items like mad since I've been waiting two years for them to come out with this theme). XD

Damn it, damn it, damn it. I promised I would not buy any of the S8 books, but Jo Chen's cover is so pretty...

CBR.com has the cover for #36 for your viewing pleasure. :D

I will not buy this, but I want it...

Normally, I don't post reviews on here, but I just had to have a giggle at BuffyverseComics's latest reviews. Buffy #33 got a perfect 10 out of 10, and Buffy #34 got an 8/10? Really? Really? And Willingham's Angel #32 gets a 2 out of 10? Seriously? I have not enjoyed Willingham's series at all, but I would say that my dissatisfaction is either less or on par with my dissatisfaction with the Buffy comics. I'm sorry, but I can't find the Sex-in-Space issue compelling or interesting just a pathetic excuse for a comic that needed so much exposition to try and fix some loopholes that the only thing they could manage to punch it up was to fill up the panels with bland sex.

Dear Mr. Jeanty,
Learn to draw a vagina and just fill up the pages with those. Call it avant-garde, call it Danger Mouse, call it whatever you choose. Just stay the hell off my Kool-Aid.
No Love,
Fender

Robot Chicken released this skit before Season 8 started, but given what we've seen thus far, it actually would have been more palatable than what's been released. It's worth a watch. XD

Buffy: Season 8, featuring Seth Green, Mark Hamill, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. :D

Kevin Keller will be Archie Comics' first gay character and will be introduced in Veronica #202.

"The introduction of Kevin is just about keeping the world of Archie Comics current and inclusive. Archie's hometown of Riverdale has always been a safe world for everyone. It just makes sense to have an openly gay character in Archie comic books," said Archie Comics Co- CEO, Jon Goldwater.

In the story, "Isn't it Bromatic?," Kevin Keller is the new hunk in town and Veronica just has to have him. After Kevin defeats Jughead in a burger eating contest at Pop's Chocklit Shoppe, she desperately latches onto him. Mayhem and hilarity ensue as Kevin desperately attempts to let Veronica down easy and her flirtations only become increasingly persistent.

Veronica #202 will be in stores on Sept. 1.

- Am I the only one who thinks that Kevin looks like Spike with the Marsters's sheeple hair and adorable outfits?
- Preview page with Kevin coming out to Jughead.

It's 4AM, and I have a horrible idea. JE NE SERAI PAS TON PERE!

What would you like to see from the Jossverse comics? Tell me, and I might draw your ideas in comic-form! Seriously! It's that easy!

Here's some ground rules:
1. Nothing too porny. Maybe a little porny... but I work from home now, and my mom might see it so not-too-porny. XD
2. Nothing too long. That has nothing to do with the porny thing... or does it?
3. No penguin porn. Seriously. I think it's against my religion. Zeus does not approve of the penguin mating.
4. No blasphemy... Wait, blashpemy's okay. :D
5. Nothing too complicated. We can't all be as talented as George Jeanty to be able to draw fancy bats and bears and mosquitos and shapeless nippleless man-tits.
6. I make no estimation of if or when I'll draw your idea. I also might not draw it in a specific style. You may get humans, you may get chibis, you may get crayon scribblies. Enjoy!

Quick! Send me your ideas before I go to sleep and realize what a wretched idea this is! :D
